Healthy Choices

I have been trying to make healthier choices for myself and my family recently. if you're on Facebook, you may have noticed that I am on FB a little less. I am still here for sure, but, I have been focusing on my kids a lot more and took FB off my phone. :) It's been kinda nice not to get lost on FB and wonder where the time went...
So, I check in like twice a day and try to share tidbits from my life. But, I have posted a ton less recently too. πŸ™ƒ
I've been working towards getting rest, finding solutions, my own health (I picked the horrible Oreo addiction back up again!😬 So that's my current thing to work on.). I have been working on consistent bedtime, making good choices for myself and my kids, getting back into God's word more consistently, and helping babies sleep so I can sleep. We are still working on that. I have done all the things and, I am adding the oils back in (I forgot to use them for a while to help babies sleep.... It all comes from being a zombie... You forget to do basic things.) So, I am adding the Peace and Calming and Gentle Baby to help soothe and relax. I diffuse Gentle Baby and then I put Peace and Calming (Diluted. I just put a roller bottle top on and did half Essential Oil, half V-6 Vegetable oil from Young Living). I have also been using White Angelica again. This oil seemed to end night terrors for us. So, I am very, very thankful not to be having to wake up for those... :)

Another decision I made is that, homeschooling sounds so amazing! But, right now, in this time, it's not best for our family. Isaiah needed the education and interaction, I needed the time to focus on my twin one year olds (HOW are they one already?!) and my 4 year old. It was a hard decision in some ways. And, in others, not so much. But, after the first day of school, I was really happy with the decision. And, I was really proud of Isiah as he stepped out in independence to ride the bus all 3 blocks to school. πŸ˜‚ I mean, it' s not far. But he feels so grown up. And, I love seeing him have the time. It's good for him to be a kid and not feel like he has to take care of his brothers. He still comes home, and, instead of telling me about his day, "How was your day Mommy? Did anyone help you? Are you ok?" Oh my heart! He cares about others SOOOO much! His tender sweet heart is thriving in this new adventure. It makes me happy to see him learning and growing.

I know there are many more decisions to be made in the very near future. But, I know that God will be faithful to direct our paths as we make plans. I am confident that His plan for us right now, is this.

Here's to healthy choices!

P.S. I mentioned Essential Oils and I only recommend one brand. Young Living. If you use another brand and don't get results, you were warned. ;) The Seed to Seal promise is something I have seen put into action at a profit loss for the company. And, I 100% trust the quality and that the oils were not distilled with chemicals that I am trying to avoid.
